Our Work

At Gods Work International, our work is rooted in restoring dignity and hope to the most vulnerable in our communities. Through targeted initiatives in girls’ sanitary hygiene, boys’ general hygiene, and elderly care, we empower lives with the tools, support, and love they need to thrive. Every program we run is more than just service — it’s a mission to uplift, inspire, and create lasting transformation across generations.

Our Focus Areas

Girls' Sanitary Hygiene & Mentorship

Many girls in rural and underserved communities miss several days of school each month because they cannot afford sanitary products. This not only disrupts their education but also negatively impacts their self-esteem, confidence, and long-term opportunities. The stigma surrounding menstruation often leaves girls feeling ashamed and isolated during a natural, recurring stage of life. By addressing both their physical needs and emotional well-being, we help young girls stay in school, pursue their dreams with dignity, and grow into empowered women.

what we do:

>>Distribute sanitary pads, panties, and hygiene kits.
>>Conduct mentorship programs on health, confidence, and career guidance.
>>Partner with schools to create safe spaces for girls.

Boys' General Hygiene & Mentorship

In many communities, hygiene education and basic supplies for boys are often overlooked, yet poor hygiene can lead to serious health issues, social stigma, and a lack of self-confidence. Boys who grow up without understanding how to care for themselves physically are more likely to struggle with self-worth, discipline, and responsibility later in life. By providing hygiene essentials and mentorship rooted in life skills and leadership development, we help boys grow into confident, respectful, and purpose-driven young men.

what we do:

>>Provide underwear, socks, and hygiene products.
>>Teach personal hygiene habits and life skills.
>>Offer mentorship programs to build discipline and leadership.
support to elderly

Elderly Support

Many elderly individuals in rural areas live in deep poverty, often forgotten and alone. They struggle with chronic hunger, lack of access to basic healthcare, and emotional isolation due to the loss of family or support systems. Without adequate food, medical support, or human connection, their final years become a time of suffering rather than peace. Providing them with consistent care, companionship, and dignity helps restore their joy, health, and sense of belonging — reminding them that they are seen, valued, and loved.

what we do:

>>Distribute monthly food packages.
>>Organize annual December events with meals, medical check-ups, and gifts.
>>Provide emotional support and companionship.

Testimonies of Hope

Every number we report represents a real life transformed — a child who returned to school with confidence, a boy who now leads with pride, an elderly person who feels seen and loved. At Gods Work International, these are the stories that fuel our mission. Through small, consistent acts of compassion, we are witnessing hope restored and dignity reclaimed in homes, schools, and villages across Murang’a County.
