Many girls in rural and underserved communities miss several days of school each month because they cannot afford sanitary products. This not only disrupts their education but also negatively impacts their self-esteem, confidence, and long-term opportunities. The stigma surrounding menstruation often leaves girls feeling ashamed and isolated during a natural, recurring stage of life. By addressing both their physical needs and emotional well-being, we help young girls stay in school, pursue their dreams with dignity, and grow into empowered women.
In many communities, hygiene education and basic supplies for boys are often overlooked, yet poor hygiene can lead to serious health issues, social stigma, and a lack of self-confidence. Boys who grow up without understanding how to care for themselves physically are more likely to struggle with self-worth, discipline, and responsibility later in life.
